Broadway Zumba combines the world of Broadway music, theater dance and elements of Zumba. During this high energy workshop, participants learn choreographed musical numbers based on selected Broadway shows/themes. The program will give participants the ability to stretch their minds and bodies through physical activity and group discussions.

Our musical theatre program will engage seniors in an experiential workshop that will encompass the skills needed to perform in a showcase including, acting, dance/movement and voice. Sessions will include theatre games, warm-ups, vocal direction, dance/movement, acting exercises, theatre and dance terminology and culminate in a performance for the center and community.

Our visual teaching artist will lead participants in hands-on art classes that will teach them the techniques to create their own masterpieces. From concept to finished product, seniors will learn the process of creating a variety of art. Sessions will encourage seniors to bring their creativity to the forefront and share ideas in workshop discussions.
